John the young miller is loosing his grain to a strange plague of enormous rats.

Puss helps chase off the ravenous rodents in return for a new pair of boots. John’s beloved Princess Posy is kidnapped by Count Ergo. Ergo is an evil ogre who is plotting to take over the kingdom using the plague of rats.

Will Puss survive the Ogres shape changing cabinet?
Will John be able to marry the beautiful Princess Posy?

Chris Toppers production of Puss in Boots is a quick paced pantomime featuring large colourful hand operated puppets. The clear language and simple presentation style engages children. The production is presented from an impressive 9ft wide and high theatre complete with lighting and PA sound. It is ideal for venues with little or no technical support such as schools, libraries and leisure centres.

The show lasts 45 minutes with an optional talk at the end of the show about how the puppets are made and operated and about the origins of fairy tales written by Charles Perrault.

For over 18 years Chris Topper has performed his puppets in schools, libraries, theatres and festivals throughout Britain. He has also made and performed puppets for the BBC, the Sooty show and ‘My First Party Album’ DVD (2006). He is a member of Equity and has CRB clearance.
